Centerpiece

Hi !
I do crochet once or twice a week after dinner while watching TV and I’d like to show y’all a centerpiece which I’ve finished recently.

I loved crocheting this piece because it’s a combination of filet and pineapples and this pattern is from an Ondori book.I think I should stop crocheting doilies until I block all the pieces ...
Have a wonderful weekend!
Happy stitching!
Anita.

Wow it's stunning! I don't think I could do that with the TV on , I think I'd really need to concentrate so I didn't lose my place. It definitely is fabulous - an heirloom treasure for sure (even if you keep it for yourself!)

Molto bello Anita, fino a qualche anno fa lavoravo solo ad uncinetto ed ho fatto tantissimi lavori, forse col tempo mostrerò qualcosa sul blog. Baci

Your crochet looks like a pattern out of the Ondori book.Mine never turn out this perfect.

Looking adorable Anita. I too have tried some pineapple patterns. But never turned out good. After seeing this I want to try it again and I have downloaded a pattern that includes pineapple in a doily. Let me see how it comes out. What is blocking in crochet?

Nice work Anita! I liked especially the corners, having rounded ones for a rectangle or square pattern gives a different look.

I have started a new needlework blog. Please have a look

Anita you are very talented.
Your paintings are so lovely and the crochet beautiful. It is nice to see a rectangle form.

Beautiful work, Anita. I enjoy thread crochet, but I've never attempted something this big and complex.
